Dear Julie and Neil: April 19, 2006

Many thanks for a marvelous luncheon and tour this last Tuesday. I'm a frequent traveler with the Woodburn Garden Club, and for all the touring I've done, I've never enjoyed a lunch meal as much as that one. I'm from the US, and have lived in Paris and other cities for much of my life. The quality of the meal was world class, superb, with each flavor distinct and pleasing. It reminded me of a tour I took of the Loire Valley in the West of France, where we visited country bistros and small restaurants, all of which had earned three stars from the Michelin Group.
